With “Children Are Becoming Self Aware of Their Budgets” and “Young People are Becoming Self Aware of Their Budgets”, thousands of children and young people were provided with financial literacy trainings.

The Financial Literacy and Inclusion Association provided financial literacy training for children and young people in Istanbul through  “Children are Becoming Self Aware of Their Budgets” and “Young People are Becoming Self Aware of Their Budgets” within the scope of 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day and 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day.

The aims of these trainings provided to the students of primary and secondary schools are to ensure them to transform their goals to the plan, to learn the concepts such as demand, need, fund, savings and budget, with the training booklets distributed to them.

In the trainings, which was held with the participation of FODER volunteers, students of faculty of business of Yeditepe University, YUMAC members and the students of other faculties voluntarily, 6000 children and young people, who are aimed to gain responsibilities on financial issues, were reached and gained financial consciousness.
