Financial Literacy and Inclusion Association (FODER)’s Chair Özlem Denizmen stated: “As FODER, we see financial literacy as the main parameter of sustainable development and growth. Young people and children are the most important pillars of this parameter. The awareness of saving raised at a young age is a useful investment for the future of the youth and for the future of our country. FODER members are extremely aware of this responsibility. New generations who know how to save money wisely are the sine qua non for ensuring a smart economy. As all FODER’s components, we are ready to fulfill our responsibilities to bring this awareness to our youth and children. During the Global Money Week, we will reach the children and young people with many activities and trainings. Turkey’s economic future will be determined by the financial literacy of younger generations. We would like to express our gratitude to all the companies we cooperate with, including the Capital Markets Board and Borsa İstanbul which have always provided their support to us in that regard, and to the individual and corporate members of FODER.
