FODER Financial Literacy Club, which aims to teach young people how to manage the money in a fun and interactive way and to raise their financial awareness, made a trip to the Ottoman Bank Museum on 27 October 2016 Thursday together with Darüşşafaka club students.
With this trip to Ottoman Bank, which was established in 1856 under the name Ottoman Bank, young people had the opportunity to review various documents ranging from the first banknote designs to stock certificates, government bonds and official records, they learned about the period and banking process of that period and they formulated their opinions in that regard.
With the aim of introducing the history of money, money management, financial literacy and financial system, this trip aimed the young people to gain the key skills in preventing the financial exclusion they may encounter in the following years and in managing the money.
